2 Months

Ella! You are two months old TODAY! Happy two months my sweet baby. I'm falling more and more in love with you everyday. Your little personality is poking out more and more. You are such a GOOD baby. I didn't think I was going to get another good baby, but you have proved me wrong. You are already sleeping through the night and it has been a huge blessing. Our little family has had quite the month, so getting lots of sleep has helped me cope with the craziness! You also have the cutest smile I've ever seen. You're whole face lights up when you smile and I just can't help but smile and laugh because it is adorable! You also stick your little tongue out when you smile and I just can't stand it! You are very alert and love to watch people. It's almost as if you can see into our souls when you stare at us. You've always been so alert. You concentrate very hard when we talk and sing to you. My favorite is when you start to make little sounds and talk back in your own way. Your head is incredibly strong! When we do tummy time you have your head up the whole time. You hardly cry, except when your food is taken away from you and you're not done yet. Is it bad that I think your cry is absolutely adorable? You are completely smitten with your sister. She can make you smile without saying or doing anything. You LOVE watching her. I can already tell that you two are going to have a special relationship. I'm so grateful you two have each other! You take naps like a champ. I literally have to just lay you in your crib and you put yourself to sleep. You amaze me more and more each day. We have you on a very consistent schedule and so far you are absolutely thriving on it. I didn't think my heart could open up anymore and love someone as much as I love Gracie, but you have definitely opened it up. We blessed you the other day and your daddy gave you a beautiful blessing. All I can say is your have a beautiful road ahead of you. I can't wait to see what you have to offer the world. Your red hair is coming in beautifully and your eyes are getting bluer and bluer each day. I think we have another knock out on our hands. Oh great! I love you little Ella.

 Ella! I can’t believe you're almost 8. For some reason you are the one child that I can’t believe is getting so big. I just feel like it was yesterday that you were so tiny cuddling in my arms and now when I hold you, you aren’t so little anymore. But holding you is still my favorite thing. I am loving 3 months. You are the cutest baby. I know everyone says that about their babies, but seriously you are the cutest. I told dad the other day that I'm obsessed with you and want a thousand more babies because of you.We just got back from taking you on your very first trip to Anna Maria. I could travel everyday with you! You made it that easy. Thanks Ella. I joke that you were like me emotional support animal. Ha. I don't really like airplanes, they make me nervous. But having you glued to me the entire trip actually helped me feel more calm inside. You ate an slept the whole time, no time for nonsense like crying. I changed all your diapers on my lap, minus one poopy one that dad so graciously offered to change in the tiny bathroom. Bless his heart. We survived Universal Studios together as well. TODAY is your 8 Month birthday, and poor thing, you're sick. You are handling it like a champ though. I tried as hard as I could to keep you well, but your dear sister brought home a cold and the rest is history. You are still the happiest little soul, even if you are sick. These past 8 months with you have been blissful. You are a special little person, with a beautiful personality. I just LOVE being around you. You don't say much, but if smiles could talk! You have the biggest smile and are constantly giving it. Your sister still gets the most smiles and laughs though. You absolutely adore her, and vice versa. You two are going to move mountains together. You balance each other out and compliment each other perfectly. I've loved watching your relationship bloom.
