8 Months

TODAY is your 8 Month birthday, and poor thing, you're sick. You are handling it like a champ though. I tried as hard as I could to keep you well, but your dear sister brought home a cold and the rest is history. You are still the happiest little soul, even if you are sick. These past 8 months with you have been blissful. You are a special little person, with a beautiful personality. I just LOVE being around you. You don't say much, but if smiles could talk! You have the biggest smile and are constantly giving it. Your sister still gets the most smiles and laughs though. You absolutely adore her, and vice versa. You two are going to move mountains together. You balance each other out and compliment each other perfectly. I've loved watching your relationship bloom.

This past week, your two bottom teeth came in! I was so proud to see them poking through! I didn't even know you were teething because you were still the sweetest, most agreeable baby. We've been introducing you to new foods, avocados, eggs, rice biscuits, aka real food. You love it, but you still eat all the baby food without any hesitation. I don't tell many other moms, because I don't want them to be jealous, but you're a dream baby and make me want a million more! You sit up all the time now and have great balance. You still haven't shown any attempt at crawling, but you are figuring out you can roll around to get places you want.

Let's talk about your hair. I'm absolutely in LOVE with it. Its growing in more and getting redder by the day. Your hair is the first thing people mention when they see you. Of course it is! I never thought I would have a red head baby, I'm so glad I did though!

Your mom, dad, and sister love you very much. We say time and time again how much we love having you in our family and can't remember what we did without you. You fit perfectly, you make us complete. We sure love you Ella.
