10 Months

Oh Ella you have changed so much in this last month! You're making connections, mimicking what we do, moving around more! But one thing has stayed the same, you are still obsessed with Dad. I'm getting slightly jealous, BUT I actually think it's adorable. You cry when I change you and wash your face, but when dad does those things you are just a little angel. I bet you can guess who's been getting you ready for bed lately. Ha. The other day dad came home and I was holding you and you reached out to go to him. I held my hands out to take you back and you didn't even entertain the thought. You two are the cutest. It's okay, Dad is Gracie's favorite as well. You are growing so fast! Still struggling with crawling, but you'll get there. You do a great job at getting on your hands and knees and rocking back and fourth, sometimes even planking, but instead of moving forward you move backwards. For the most part though, you are pretty content with being where you are at. Definitely don't have places to go. You're chill and easy going. You do have your moments of feistiness though! If you don't get your food in time, you make it very apparent. You went through a yelling stage for a couple of weeks, but thank goodness that has died down a bit. Sleeping through the night. Taking 2 wonderful naps during the day. You say dada 24/7, of course. Eating big people food three times a day. Of course you're still eating from me. It's our special time where you actually want me. No stranger danger yet. You love everyone. Gracie is still the one who can get the best smiles out of you. Peek A Boo is the cutest thing you're doing right now. You think it is the best thing ever. Clapping. Pointing to pictures in your books. You love to read with momma. I love it to. You and Gracie have lots of play time together. She thinks you're the greatest. It has been an absolutely lovely month with you. I sure love you my sweet little red:)

 Ella! I can’t believe you're almost 8. For some reason you are the one child that I can’t believe is getting so big. I just feel like it was yesterday that you were so tiny cuddling in my arms and now when I hold you, you aren’t so little anymore. But holding you is still my favorite thing. I am loving 3 months. You are the cutest baby. I know everyone says that about their babies, but seriously you are the cutest. I told dad the other day that I'm obsessed with you and want a thousand more babies because of you.We just got back from taking you on your very first trip to Anna Maria. I could travel everyday with you! You made it that easy. Thanks Ella. I joke that you were like me emotional support animal. Ha. I don't really like airplanes, they make me nervous. But having you glued to me the entire trip actually helped me feel more calm inside. You ate an slept the whole time, no time for nonsense like crying. I changed all your diapers on my lap, minus one poopy one that dad so graciously offered to change in the tiny bathroom. Bless his heart. We survived Universal Studios together as well. 8 Months

TODAY is your 8 Month birthday, and poor thing, you're sick. You are handling it like a champ though. I tried as hard as I could to keep you well, but your dear sister brought home a cold and the rest is history. You are still the happiest little soul, even if you are sick. These past 8 months with you have been blissful. You are a special little person, with a beautiful personality. I just LOVE being around you. You don't say much, but if smiles could talk! You have the biggest smile and are constantly giving it. Your sister still gets the most smiles and laughs though. You absolutely adore her, and vice versa. You two are going to move mountains together. You balance each other out and compliment each other perfectly. I've loved watching your relationship bloom.
