12-15 Months

I realized that life has been so crazy lately, that I haven't taken the time to write. It looks like the last time I wrote about you was when you turned one. I feel like you have changed SO much since then. You are on the verge of walking, I can feel it. You are stubborn though and I know you can sense how much we want you to walk, hence you're taking your sweet time so it can be on your terms. I know your stubborn ways will help you greatly in the future if you use it right. Please don't be too stubborn with us haha. You are definitely more on your feet, holding onto furniture as you walk around. I'd give you a couple more weeks and you'll be there. Your poor little knees are getting quite dinged up though! So please figure it out fast! You have become a lot more vocal lately. You have lots to say and in a very loud voice. You have already started to yell my name and I don't know how I feel about that. But hence you are saying my name now! It took you soooo long, but I just love to hear it. You LOVE being outside with Gracie and get so mad when I bring you inside. Your favorite spot is on the steps, watching gracie and eating mint leaves. You still sleep like a rockstar for your naps and bedtime. You love to snuggle, but you also enjoy your space. Your appetite is still amazing, you love all foods, except for deli meat. Your temper is real, especially when you are getting your faced wiped or your diaper changed. You have already thrown a few little tantrums, and you definitely keep us on our toes. I still can't imagine life without you and love the energy you bring to our family. I love you my sweet sweet Ella.

 Ella! I can’t believe you're almost 8. For some reason you are the one child that I can’t believe is getting so big. I just feel like it was yesterday that you were so tiny cuddling in my arms and now when I hold you, you aren’t so little anymore. But holding you is still my favorite thing. I am loving 3 months. You are the cutest baby. I know everyone says that about their babies, but seriously you are the cutest. I told dad the other day that I'm obsessed with you and want a thousand more babies because of you.We just got back from taking you on your very first trip to Anna Maria. I could travel everyday with you! You made it that easy. Thanks Ella. I joke that you were like me emotional support animal. Ha. I don't really like airplanes, they make me nervous. But having you glued to me the entire trip actually helped me feel more calm inside. You ate an slept the whole time, no time for nonsense like crying. I changed all your diapers on my lap, minus one poopy one that dad so graciously offered to change in the tiny bathroom. Bless his heart. We survived Universal Studios together as well. TODAY is your 8 Month birthday, and poor thing, you're sick. You are handling it like a champ though. I tried as hard as I could to keep you well, but your dear sister brought home a cold and the rest is history. You are still the happiest little soul, even if you are sick. These past 8 months with you have been blissful. You are a special little person, with a beautiful personality. I just LOVE being around you. You don't say much, but if smiles could talk! You have the biggest smile and are constantly giving it. Your sister still gets the most smiles and laughs though. You absolutely adore her, and vice versa. You two are going to move mountains together. You balance each other out and compliment each other perfectly. I've loved watching your relationship bloom.
