2 Years


















Happy Birthday my sweet baby. I can't believe you're two, it seems like you were just born yesterday. One thing is for sure, I can't imagine what we would do without you in our family. You bring so much joy to our family. You still are quite dramatic, but it's getting a bit better since you can communicate a bit more these days. You still aren't talking much, you have a hard time putting sounds together, but I'm not worried. You've always liked to take your time and that's just fine with me. The last time I took you to your doctor's appointment they found a little cyst on your inner lip. They had to swab it with this chemical that stung, but you held so still and were such a good sport. I was so proud of you. You still are very dramatic and emotional. The other day I heard a blood curdling cry from you and I thought for sure that you broke something, but no. You were on the floor crying because you had dropped your goldfish out of your cup. Seriously? Very emotional. Your love for good food is still there, you'll pick ribs over chicken nuggets any day. You love sauces and smelling everything before you eat it. Maybe one day you'll be a chef. Even though are family is going through a difficult time right now you keep on smiling and giving the best little hugs and loves. I am so grateful that you came when you did, you have blessed sweet Gracie with a best friend. I know you two will always be there for each other. For your birthday we had delicious pancakes with whip cream and sprinkles. We went to the butterfly biosphere at Thanksgiving Point followed by lunch of course. We had a party at grandma's house, complete with decorations, Alfredo pasta, balloons, presents, and a blue Frozen cake. You loved every minute of it and we love every ounce of you. Happy Birthday my sweet girl. May all your dreams come true.

 Ella! I can’t believe you're almost 8. For some reason you are the one child that I can’t believe is getting so big. I just feel like it was yesterday that you were so tiny cuddling in my arms and now when I hold you, you aren’t so little anymore. But holding you is still my favorite thing. I am loving 3 months. You are the cutest baby. I know everyone says that about their babies, but seriously you are the cutest. I told dad the other day that I'm obsessed with you and want a thousand more babies because of you.We just got back from taking you on your very first trip to Anna Maria. I could travel everyday with you! You made it that easy. Thanks Ella. I joke that you were like me emotional support animal. Ha. I don't really like airplanes, they make me nervous. But having you glued to me the entire trip actually helped me feel more calm inside. You ate an slept the whole time, no time for nonsense like crying. I changed all your diapers on my lap, minus one poopy one that dad so graciously offered to change in the tiny bathroom. Bless his heart. We survived Universal Studios together as well. 8 Months

TODAY is your 8 Month birthday, and poor thing, you're sick. You are handling it like a champ though. I tried as hard as I could to keep you well, but your dear sister brought home a cold and the rest is history. You are still the happiest little soul, even if you are sick. These past 8 months with you have been blissful. You are a special little person, with a beautiful personality. I just LOVE being around you. You don't say much, but if smiles could talk! You have the biggest smile and are constantly giving it. Your sister still gets the most smiles and laughs though. You absolutely adore her, and vice versa. You two are going to move mountains together. You balance each other out and compliment each other perfectly. I've loved watching your relationship bloom.
