F O U R

 Hi Eleanor!

You turned four this year. Let me just say, four looks great on you! I was in the hospital on your birthday creating a little brother for you to play trucks with. Will was born the day before your birthday on March 14th, so sadly I wasn't able to be there with you on your actual birthday, but we had the best little birthday when I got home from the hospital. We threw you a classy car birthday, complete with lots of car decorations, a tractor piñata, pin the wheels on the truck, and per your request a vanilla cake with pink frosting and a car on the top. Grandma made you a delicious Alfredo pasta dinner, per your request as well. We had fun playing games, singing & eating cake and watching you open your presents. You are so loved Eleanor.

You've grown up so much this past year. I feel like you're no longer in the toddler stage. You've gotten so big and beautiful. You're funny and love to make others laugh and smile. You bring so much light and FUN to our family. You give the best hugs and the very best kisses. You are a wonderful sister to Grace and do your best to cheer her up when she's feeling down. Grace teaches you to be calm and you teach her to stand up for herself. You two couldn't be more opposite, and it's absolutely beautiful. You two continue to grow into the very best of friends. I'm so grateful you have each other.

You are still obsessed with anything with wheels. You play for hours by yourself, usually driving around little dog figurines in trucks, vans, school busses, and your little wood car. You love playing with your doll houses as well. I could watch you play forever, you are so creative.

You have a fancy pallet and enjoy all the well expensive foods, dried mangos, fresh mangos, almonds, cashews, chobani yogurts, and cheese. You'll eat basically anything that's served to you and honestly I can't think of anything you don't like.

You are rocking your swimming lessons. You were pretty nervous at first and would yell "Save me" the whole time. Now your jumping in on your own, floating on your back and even going down the slides. I am so proud of you. We're excited to see you start soccer this Fall.

Your ideal night is playing Mario cart with a popsicle break. You're getting quite good at Mario Cart as well.

I had the priveledge of being your preschool teacher this year. Your sweet Oumie would send you a bunch of activities for each letter and you and I would do them together. You're getting so smart.

My favorite thing right now is our nap time ritual. We race up the stairs to see who can go to the bathroom the faster (you beat me every-time, but to make me feel better you say it was a tie) then we snuggle in bed and read a book, usually Corduroy, Froggy goes to the Doctor, Bernstein Bears, or Little Blue Truck. We snuggle for a little bit after the book and then you take the best naps.

I'm so grateful for you sweet Ella. You have already taught me how to be a better person. I'll love you forever and ever.

Love,

Mom
